Prosthetics Making Workshop

Date: October 9th & 10th @6p-8p
15 student cap limit, 16+ years old.
Description: Come learn the basics to sketching and sculpting flat prosthetic pieces that will elevate your makeup looks. We will also go voer painting your pieces and how to apply them. Must have at least 5 students registered
Items to bring: paper and pencil, makeup sponges, sculpting tools, castor oil, and grease paint.
Intro to Puppet Making

Description: We'll discuss the basics of puppet making that will help you build a foundation on. Must have at least 5 students registered
From Sketch to Stage: The Costume Design Process

25 student cap limit, 14+ years old
What we will cover:
- The process of reading a design and creating it.
- Mockups and fittings
- Making adjustments
- Tips and tricks
Must have at least 5 students registered
Stage Makeup Workshop
Taught by Savanna Finley
$30 per class or $100 for 4-class bundle.
Date: October 15th-16th @6p-9p, 17th @3p-6p and 6:30p-9p.
15 student cap limit, 15+ years old
What we will cover:
15th: Basic Stage Makeup
16th: Old Age Makeup
17th at 3: Injuries pt. 1 (without liquid latex)
17th at 6:30p: Injuries pt. 2 (with liquid latex)
Bring: Ben Nye Bruise Wheel, Fake Blood, Ben Nye Stage Makeup Kit in your skin tone (can be purchased at the University of Utah Pharmacy), and liquid latex.
Must have at least 5 students registered
Wig Foundations Workshop
Taught by Savanna Finley
$75
Date: September 26th @ 5:30p- 8p, & October 3rd @ 5:30p-8p
Bring: a synthetic hard front wig.
What we will cover:
- Ventilating (also known as hand-knotting).
- Stitching with a ventilating needle.
- Repairing.
- Refronting a hard front into a lace front.
*This is a skill that requires good eyesight and hand coordination.
Must have at least 5 students registered
