Last year, we made the questionable decision to let the public vote one show onto our season. You chose Xanadu.
Against all logic, it’s about to hit our stage — roller skates and all. And we’re HERE FOR IT. So… we’re trusting you again.
For 9 DAYS, your donations will help decide one future West Valley Arts production. This year’s contenders have been grouped into categories because apparently we’re trying to create some sense of order in all of this.
First up: THE INEVITABLE TITLE
Everyone’s done it. The high schools did it. The community theater did it. Somewhere, an elementary school is probably rehearsing it right now.And yet… part of us still kind of wants to do it too.

One is a beloved Broadway classic. The other emotionally altered an entire generation of theater kids. Both probably deserve their time in the round… but is 2027 that time?

Some shows leave the stage. Some shows leave emotional damage. And some keep finding their way back into the conversation no matter how much time passes. We’re ready to revive one of our most beloved titles from the last six years. So what do you think? Is it time to head back to Washington Heights? Or do we need to swing by Fleet Street first?

Every title can be voted in to do the show with donation of $25 per vote.
The more you donate - the more votes your title recieves.

Except - hold on - if you’ve got BIG feelings, you can cancel out a vote for $25 as well.

How it Works:
Vote as many times as you want (we're not the electoral college). Simply add the corresponding below to your cart. When the campaign ends, we'll tally the votes and announce THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE as part of our 2027 season. Just simply drop the choices you want into the cart and check out. We’ll tally on June 5th and announce the winner on Saturday June 13th at the Evening show of Xanadu!

The fine print nobody reads: All donations support our theater regardless of the outcome. If you vote for a show to happen and it loses, your money still helps us create amazing theater. If you vote against a show and it wins anyway... well, that's democracy for you.
