Ever wonder how theater magic comes to life? Named after Hamilton's iconic number, this immersive camp takes you backstage where all the action begins! Learn how sets transform spaces, how projections create worlds, and how performance work makes shows soar. Work alongside our technical theater pros to understand the art of stagecraft while developing your performance skills. By the end, you'll know exactly what happens in "the room where it happens"!

Every great show needs its heroes! Inspired by the powerful anthem from Big Fish, this camp dives deep into what makes characters truly memorable. You'll explore the building blocks of storytelling, discover how lighting creates mood, and learn how physical movement brings characters to life. Work with our professional actors and directors to understand relationship dynamics and how to make authentic connections on stage. This is your chance to become the hero of your own theatrical journey!

We keep class sizes small to accommodate deep learning. If your preferred date or camp is not available, please email theatre360@wvcarts.org to request another slot and/or join the waitlist. While we cannot accommodate every request, we will do our best to include your camper.
